Text: Mat 13:53-58
Introduction: Jesus was in His hometown. He should have been welcomed as a hero. There should have been lines of people ready to experience His power and listen to His wisdom. Instead, the people in Jesus’s own hometown did not get to receive all He had to offer because they were blind to who He really was.
Today we are going to explore how our attitude to gratitude is affected by our familiarity in relationships.

- How do you get intimate with someone or something?
- What are the advantages of familiarity and intimacy?
- How does familiarity and intimacy affect gratitude?
- Who was familiar or Intimate with God? Mat 15:1-9, Psa 103:7, John 15:7
- Are you familiar or intimate with the word of God?
- Are you familiar or Intimate with the people that you are in a relationship with?
- Read Mat 6:22-23 . What do you need to change in the relationship?
Summary: Gratitude will change your entire attitude. Don’t be blind. Take a good, hard look around you. Take an honest inventory of all the blessings you have in your life. You will see that the list is near endless. If we aren’t thankful, then we aren’t paying attention. It’s not happy people who are thankful. It’s thankful people who are happy.
