Introduction.
How you think of yourself will influence, how you see and talk to yourself. This will determine your sense of self-worth, motivation, view of authority hence handling adversity.
You can either have a Servant-based thinking or Son-based Thinking of yourself.
Servant-based thinking operates on performance, fear, and obligation, where worth is tied to productivity and rules. Conversely, Son-based thinking operates on grace, love, and security, viewing worth as an unearned inheritance.
While a servant labors to earn approval, a Son co-labors from a place of already having it.
Today we are seeking to shift from a Servant based thinking to a Son based thinking. Understanding this shift helps move a person from a place of heavy legalism into one of rest, empowerment, and authentic connection.
