May 14 – Motivation for Kindness .

Kindness can be a powerful motivator because it leads to positive outcomes for both the giver and the receiver. Acts of kindness can create a ripple effect of positivity, improve relationships, and foster a sense of well-being for everyone involved. It can also be a powerful tool for overcoming fear and building bridges between people. Today we are taking a deep dive into the motivation for Kindness.

Kindness is a powerful expression of love because it involves acting in ways that benefit others, often at a personal cost, and demonstrates a genuine care and concern for their well-being. It’s not just about being polite; it’s about actively choosing to show compassion and empathy, which are key components of love.

Discussion and study questions:

  • What Biblical examples do we have on kindness?
  • When we show undeserved kindness , whose character are we imitating and why? Matthew 5:43-48, Colossians 3:17
  • What should be our motivation when we display kindness?
